  • The remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the tour start date.

  • Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other approved payment methods.

  • Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund of the deposit.

  • For bookings made less than 48 hours prior to the tour date, the full payment is required at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour start date will result in a refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations made between 15 and 30 days before the tour start date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour cost.

  • Cancellations made less than 15 days before the tour start date will not be eligible for a refund.

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our customer service team.

3. Force Majeure Clause
  • In the event of any occurrence beyond the reasonable control of the parties, including but not limited to natural disasters (such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes), acts of terrorism, war, government regulations or orders, strikes, or any other similar events that prevent or hinder the performance of obligations under this agreement, the following policy shall supersede the standard policy and will take full effect.

    • PLEASE NOTE that in the event that a force majeure event is presented due to a declared state of emergency and/or other government regulations or orders which impacts safety on a national level and prevents tourism and travel on a national basis, the applicability of Discover Israel’s force majeure policy will terminate EITHER:

      1. upon the declaration of the end of the state of emergency and/or by the cancellation of said emergency state or other government regulations or orders, with no requirement for specific notice by Discover Israel; OR

      2. upon the resumption of general tourism and travel on a national basis which includes the resumption of passenger flights in and out of Ben Gurion airport in the event such flights have been suspended, with no requirement for specific notice by Discover Israel.

  • PLEASE NOTE that political unrest and/or military/security force response that specifically impacts safety on a national level will be considered a force majeure event. However, in the event that tourism is ongoing nationally and Ben Gurion airport remains open to passenger flights, the force majeure clause will NOT be in effect, and the standard cancellation policy outlined in Section 2 will apply.

3.1 Military Reserve Duty Clause
  • In the event of a state of emergency or if Levi is called to reserve duty on short notice, the Force Majeure policy in response to such conditions will be enacted that supersedes the usual payment and refund policy. This measure is to ensure the safety and security of all parties involved.

3.2 Refund and Rescheduling Policy and Options During Force Majeure Events
  • A full refund of any scheduled tour affected by the occurrence of a Force Majeure event will be provided upon request, excluding any transfer fees.

  • As an alternative to a full refund, Clients may choose to leave their deposit with Discover Israel as a credit for a future tour and may reschedule for a future date. An additional experience will be offered at no extra cost.

  • Failure to notify Discover Israel of a refund request or of a request to credit payments to a future tour within ten (10) business days of the conclusion of a force majeure event will result in forfeit of any refund, and credit for any future tour will be subject to the sole discretion of Discover Israel.
